Abstract
The paper deals with the flora of Lolab, a lovely and beautiful side valley in the Kashmir Himalayas and presents a systematic census of 246 species out of which 229 are Angiosperms, 7 are Gymnosperms and 10 are Pteridophytes. The flora was investigated ecologically and frequency Values of some of the species are mentioned. Among species of special interest Angelica archangelica, Cassiope fastigata, Fritillaria roylei, Morina longifolia and Pleurogyne spathulata may be mentioned.
